Augustine, mulatto-girl aged about 14 years.
Also, listed is Bazile, a negro-man aged about 20 years.
Somehow this this slave history became Indian history. This is not Indian history.

Description: Alexandre Defranc DEVILLE Plantation for Sale at Auction Shows Names and Ages of Slaves
Sale at Auction.
WILL be sold at public sale, at the residence of Alexandre Defranc DEVILLE, near Ville Plate, on Thursday, the 12th August next, the following property belonging to the said Alex. Defranc DEVILLE, to wit:
A PLANTATION, it being his residence, measuring 1195 arpents of land, more or less, to be divided into several tracts, together with the buildings and improvements thereon.
Bazile, a negro-man aged about 20 years. Mary, negro-woman aged about 34 years, with her child, a boy about 18 months old. Augustine, mulatto-girl aged about 14 years.
A lot of about 150 head of gentle horned cattle, half breed; a flock of sheep; a lot of hogs; 8 buggy and riding horses; 4 mules; a lot of gentle mares; 2 four wheel carriages; one waggon; one ox cart; household furniture, &c.
Possession of the premises will be given on the 1st January 1859.
CONDITIONS--Payable on the 1st April next, 1859.
