A search of the GRO in Scotland reveals this as the only Henry and Jane Devlin with son Henry of the right age.The names used, and the time of immigration from Ireland fit with family folklore. It seems Henry and Jane and son Henry arrived in Glasgow between 1884 and 1889.The Jane Devlin death, T Rollox (GRO644 6 1263) in 1901 aged 37, fits with the information that Henry Snr was a widower at the time of his son's marriage in 1902.
I have been unable so far to locate Henry's birth in Ireland. Family info suggested it would have been Co Derry, and would have had links with dairying, and that Henry may have had a sister, Mary, who lived in Magherafelt and corresponded with her gt niece Maggie(Devlin) McGrath in Glasgow.
Any help or contact with other descendents would be welcomed
