My "email" is firstname.lastname@example.org. Yes, I would like to have the slave schedule. My grandfather would have been about 4 - 6 years of age about then. The Worthington's had several plantations, the one my grandfather was sent to was the Belmont Plantation located at Avon and the other was at Wayside MS. He stayed at Belmont until grown and married my grandmother in 1878. All of his children were born at Belmont. I have been in touch with some of the Worthington decendents but none of them seem to have heard anything about my grandfather even though their relatives continued communications with him and even bought and sold land between them. I find it very strange no one has any idea how the connection came to be. Even stranger I came across the 1880 census for the Wm Worthington household and there was an Amanda Worthington. Her relation to Wm is listed as mother, marital status single and race Black. Somehow the Worthingtons are connected with someone in Roanoke area. I hope to hear from you soon.
