Bedford Co., PA.It gives Amos birth there as Abt. 1744, and death 8 Apr 1823.It lists the following children: Stephen b. 1773, PA, no death given, married Sarah Perdue/Perdew(sister of Laban) Isaac b. 1775 PA Jesse b. 6 Feb 1777, PA; d. 27 Sep 1852, Perry Co., PA. Jesse married Marie Talitha Berkshire and had 13 children one of whom was John B. Dicken b. 1807, PA and in 1852residing in Hocking Co., OH (Pretty old to fight in the CW ca. 1860) Jonathan b. 1779, PA; d. Bef. 1850; Married Mary and had 13 children: one in which I am interested: Jonathan Dicken b. aft 1800, Bedford Co., PA and at some point resided in Allegany Co., MD. Jonathan and Mary also had a son named John C. b. Abt. 1815 Bedford Co., PA. Amos b. 1781, PA Tamor b. 1783, PA Mary b. 1785, PA married Laban Perdew(brother of Sarah) Elizabeth b. 1787, PA Ruth b. 1789, PA at some point resided in Coshocton Co., OH I don't see a Thomas, but several Jonathans and Johns.My great grandfather was Jonathan Hendrick Dicken, from his obituary, he was born 1818 in PA near the Maryland border, married Martha Caroline Dewey in 1848, had a daughter in Flintstone, MD and migrated to Ottawa, La Salle Co., IL in 1855.I would like to know if he is the same Jonathan that is a son of Jonathan and grandson of Amos.
