I don't have any children for David and Margaret (Thacker) Dickensheets. In the 1850 census she was 17yr. of age and he 25yr. with no children. The Michigan information clears up something though. Years ago a Dickensheets family in Michigan contacted my Uncle in regards to our family. At that time no one was aware of our group being in that state.I found in my notes a Samuel Dickensheets born in Monroe, Michigan son of Frederick and Mary/Elizabeth (Tucker) Dickensheets.Samuel is not included on this family group sheet.I am just guessing but perhaps here lies the link to what happened.Could Samuel be the son of David and grandson of Frederick?Or a out of wedlock son?Just a thought.I have notebooks full of Dickensheets material and I will go through all of it and see what I can find. In the beginning of my research I had to make a family group sheet for each family to keep them seperated.
Also wanted to add here that Frederick Dickensheets's wife was Margaret Worman. Margaret was the daughter of Henry Worman (from Switzerland) died 1806 Frederick Co., Maryland and his wife Magdalena (Margaret ) Cour. Margaret (Peggy) Worman Dickensheets's brother David was also here in Montgomery Co., Ohio coming in 1805.So it appears that the whole group migrated together.
