I have spent more then a decade researching my Dickson line and would love to fill in the missing pieces. If anyone recognizes this family, and has any information, please contact me at PamelaArkins@aol.com.

James Dickson (1872-1894) died at 22 years of age from what is listed as paralysis of the brain. He left behind a young wife, Hannah Dickson, and two young children: James and Alonzo Dickson.
Hannah Dickson’s maiden name is still unknown. Jersey City Census records dated from 1900-1930 list various information regarding her parents. Some records state that her parents were both born in Ireland, while the 1910 census lists her father’s birthplace as Ireland, and her mother’s as Massachusetts.
Hannah Dickson did remarry, but I have yet to find the marriage record. She married a man named William Meyerhoff.
According to the 1910 Federal Census for Jersey City: Hannah Meyerhoff was residing with William Meyerhoff who was listed not only as head of household, but also as Hannah’s husband. James and Alonzo are listed as stepson’s. The address was 200 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City.
