On the 23rd May, 1852, we left Mittelbeybach (Bexbach) and emmigrated via Saarbrucken, Forbach, Metz, PontaMoison, St. Arnold, Paris to Harve de Grace. On the 29th May, we boarded the ship, "Rom" in Harve and we have arrived in New York on the 13th July. On the 18th July, we have arrived here in Sherman (Ohio) and on 15th October 1852, we have bought this piece of land from James Shay for $18 an acre and we are still residing on it as I write this down.
