I have a copy of an old letter written about my family by my gg-aunt in 1919. In it she states that her grandmother's whole name (meaning Susannah) was "Suse ann Astoneker ekemo Dyle Priah Wafeil Penn Vancleve Peeters Pringle Dike". Does this mean anything to anyone out there? I'm guessing that her writing is such that "P" could be mistaken for "T", Pringle was her first husband and VanCleve refers to her (Susan's) mother. Unfortunately I don't have, nor have I ever seen the original. I doubt if it is still in existence. The copy I have says it is verbatum and the spelling is such that I would assume that the words in the "name" are spelled phonetically. If anyone wants a copy of the whole letter I'd be happy to send one. Can anyone help?
