Hi Lynette,
About my family:Ifound the message Dave DiGiacoma posted last year, I believe his family is from Lama Dei Peligni, and he mentioned a relative named DiFabrizio. My Grandmother`s maiden name was Fabrizio, but I suspect this name was preceeded by Di.My family is from Carovilli, as far as I know, but could have been others from other nearby towns. My own family was in Ok., Grandfather worked in the coal mines there, until he could start his own business.
I can send you my line if you like.As far as I know we did not have any relatives in Algeria, or Argentina, but that doesn`t mean some of ours didn`t go there, also, am not aware of any of family in Utah, Wyoming, just
CO,PA(Newcastle)IL, Oh, and Ok., but people are always moving. As Dave pointed out to me, Lama Dei Peligni is not all that far from Carovilli. It is South and a little to the East of Lama Dei Peligni.
There is always possibilities of a connection, as I have recently found the daughter of my Godparents, and I thought this family was lost to me.
would really like to hear back from you if you think of anything I could help with. Hope you will do the same for me.
My great-great grandfather was also named Nicola DiGiacomo, but he married Frasina (Frances).
Thank you
Shirley Giacomo Walker
