Just Wondering,

My GG Grandfather Mathew Dignan - Boot & Shoe Maker in Brooklyn from abt 1860's - 1900

My G Grandfather Richard Dignan - Retail Shoes in Brooklyn from abt 1880 - 1920

also found a James Dignan in Burlington Co NJ listed as Shoemaker in 1860 census.
