OBITUARY - The remains of Hon Peter Diller, late of Brenham, Texas, were yesterday forenoon interred in the Lutheran burial Ground in this place. It will be recollected that his death took place on the 5th of January last, a notice of which appeared in the CLARION of the 25th of Jan.The remains were embalmed and kept in a vault for some time in Texas, and then taken by water toNew York, thence to Lancaster by rail. They reached this place about ten o'clock yesterday forenoon.
The services here were conducted by Rev. J.W. Hassler, at the grave, and consisted of the Episcopal Burial Service, (of which church Mr. Diller was a member) and the singing of the hymn "O where shall rest be found".Thus after sojourning in different parts of the land, his body now quietly rests besides those of friends and kindred gone before.
