My name is Terri Pulice, and I ran across your post in Genforum when I was helping my uncle Fioravante DiMarco search for himself in the Internet.
After reading your information below we are quite sure that my uncle's and my mother's grandfather is the Fioravante DiMarco you are looking for. He would be my great-grandfather. The info we have is he was born April 29, 1882 in Silvi, and died in 1936 in Pescara. He was married to Carolina Silvetti, and had four children.
Francesco ( my grandfather ) born October 23, 1907 was the oldest, then Carmela, followed by Renato and Ercole. The three sons, along with their wives and children moved to Montreal and Carmela stayed in Silvi Marina with her husband and two children.
Unfortunately all four children of Fioravante have since died. My uncle, Fiore, was named after his grandfather, and my mother was named after her grandmother Carolina.
Fiore has no children, but Lina has three, one of which is me. I also have a brother Sergio and a sister Adriana. We all live in Montreal, but have stayed in touch with our cousins in Silvi and visit them regularly. We also have cousins from Renato and Ercole's families, who are here in Montreal.
My mother does recall hearing a story that her grandfather had a first wife who died shortly after giving birth to a boy, but she doesn't have any details on what happened to him. Perhaps you can fill us in.
