There are two Peter Dingers buried in Cocalico Cemetary, near Berks County, Pa. I believe the eldest Peter is the son of Johan Dinger (arr Baltimore 1754, Good Ship Neptune, served Rev. War in Capt. Leiciers [sp?] militia), the other Peter is the grandson of Johan. I do not know the maiden name of either of the wives although I have photos somewhere of the tombstones. It is a remarkabe cemetary with four generations of Dingers buried there in father son succession. When I was young, my grandfather, Evan Dinger (died 1960) pointed out graves of Indians who converted. Johan Dinger was buried in the coal regions of Pa. Many Dingers trace thier origins in this country to Johan.
