Hello. I meet your mother--Martha and her sister, Hazel, at my mother's funeral this past week. I also meet Rev. Harvey Dingle who was there at my mother's funeral and his wife. He stated he did not have any pictures of the BROADNAXES, but, I believe Martha does. We (Hazel/Martha and myself) exchanged mailing addresses, so we can communicate with each other. Hopefully, I can get some very old photographs of the BROADNAXES. I did not know any of them were going to be there, since I have never meet them.I believe my mother's sister informed them of my mother's passing. They use to play together as kids. I mentioned your name, and Martharecognized you as her son. She also mentioned something about a family reunion coming up inJune/July timeframe. She mention that you were doing research on the family, also. I am trying to find more information on Thomas AIKEN and Lazarus BROADNAX(born 1838) each time I am in NC/VA area. I want to learn the parents of Thomas AIKEN and Lazarus BROADNAX(born 1838). I have located a Lazarus BROADNAX on Henry County, VA marriage register, married to another woman. I believe this is the Lazarus-born in 1838-our second great grandfather. His parents are not listed on the register, but might be listed on the marriage certificate. I have found this to be the case on a few documents of other relatives I have located. Well, that is all for now. Will keep in touch. Happy Memorial Day.
