I have DINGELDEIN's in Wisconsin where they are found around Milwaukee and LaCrosse.One of the sons was in the Civil War and went to Nebraska and Iowa and came back to his sons home near LaCrosse.I have the ancestors, I need the decendants.The spouses of the children were handed down from a granddaughter of Eva's and some have not been proved. Any help would be appreciated. Georg DINGELDEIN came to this country from Hesse Darmstadt in the 1850's with his wife Catharina (nee TREUSCH) and children: Leonhard m Amelia Hermann; George m 1? 2 Mary Ann Nightengale (this info from his pension records); Margareth who died in Buffalo in ca1854; Gertraude m 1 Franz Heinrich ROGGE (from LDS records) 2 Mr Stuber; Elise Catharine who m Joseph Leissow; Kathrin m Mr McKee; Eva m Josef Neumann. When Georg (the father) died Catharina married Gottlieb Kelm, 18 Apr 1869 in LaCrosse.
