He was born CIR 1820 in Quebec, parrish unknown. He left Quebec around 1848 and was headed for California, but never made it there. He ran out of money in St Paul, MN and ended up staying there.
He married in 1858 to Hannah Dullea, an Irish Immigrant that came to St Paul CIR 1849 during the great famine in Ireland.
J B became a prominant citizen in St Paul. He built a few flour mills, and in his later years dealt in realestate and insurance.
It has been mentioned he had a brother that became a Catholic priest, but no other information available.
J B died in St Paul Dec 6, 1896
His family consisted of 1 daughter, Rose Hannah (b.1859), and 3 sons Charles John (b.1861), Edward James (b.1863), Levi William (b.1865) and George Emerson (b.1868)
Any assistance will be very much appreciated.
