That is the individual for whom I have been looking!! He was my idol and he taught me a great deal about people. As I was about to graudate I was accussed of defacing a desk at school. I refuswed to acknowldge culpability and the principal, one Dr. Henry Deiniger, suspended me until I was willing to pay for it. I refused and William came to my home and spoke with me. He told me that he believed me when I said I didn't so it, that my mother believed me and that he believed me. But, he pointed out, if I didn't pay the $2.35 to reface the desk, I would not be able to graduate, and that the delay of 6 months would wreak havoc wioth my school program. He aid, "Look, Bil, these people will never be a part of your life, they will have forgotten you aftyer crowing about how they prevailed and you will never be involved. The money, I kow, is not the point, but in life you will encounter other inequities. Pay the damn money and move on"!So that iswhat I did but I never, never forgot Williasm Disharoon. He needn't have come to my house, he needn't have interceeded in my behalf. I have told this story a thousand times and now I know his family knows how I feel. Please tell me more about him and did he l;eave nephews or nieces?? Were you related to him? How can I reach his relatives? I practiced law here near San Francisco for 40 years and frequently retold this story. Please write me about him!! Thank you so much!!
