Dear Mr. Friedline, Thank you for responding.I am rather new at this and am not sure of the correct procedure for "sending my line." Hope this is what you want.
After Frederick Dishong & Margaretha Gobler the chart gets a bit sticky, I am afraid. I descend from two of their sons: Paul S. Dishong (1796-1877)who married Elizabeth Riblet (1800-1882) Peter Dishong (1797-1849)who married Margaret Riblet(1802-1872) Elizabeth and Margaret Riblet were sisters, daughters of Abraham Riblet (1771-1812)
Paul and Elizabeth Dishong's daughter Mary Ann Dishong (1820-1913) married Peter and Margaret Dishong's son Abraham Dishong (1820-1873)
Abraham and Mary Ann Dishong (first cousins) had a son, Noah A. Dishong (1845-1919)who married Amanda Rose(1855-1892)
Noah and Amanda Dishong had a daughter Anna Priscilla Dishong (1872-1960)who married Nicholas M. Altimus (1866-1893)
Nicholas and Anna Priscilla Altimus had a daughter Emma Priscilla Altimus (1895-1966) who married Barden Watson (1892-1974) Barden and Emma Watson were my grandparents.
I am particularly interested in having a copy of the May 16, 1989 newspaper article concerning the Dishongs. Have you, by chance, scanned the newspaper and is it possible for you to email a copy to me?
