DISNEY, Robert L. Jr. Age 81, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Robert was born April 5, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW Post #9582, American Legion Post #668 and the AmVets Post #99 and was a member of the Lutheran Bowling League in Dayton for many years. Robert was a retired Vice-President from Bowser-Morner Testing Labs with over 40 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Nellie in 1996 and his parents. Robert is survived by 1 son, Randall & wife, Tammy Disney of Vandalia; 1 grandson, Nicholas S. Disney; 1 brother, Timothy Disney of Oklahoma, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, November 9 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Robert's memory.
