I am searching for information on the ancestors of Henry Adam Ditto, b. 3/26/1824 possibly in Williamson County, TN -- d. 3/11/1900 in Adams County, MS. He served in the CSA in Arkansas during the Civil War and moved after the war to Avoyelles Parish, LA. He later moved to St. Landry Parish, LA, and finally to the Vicksburg, MS area before his death. He was married three times -- first to Lucy Walton in 1844 in Tennessee, then to Louisa E. (last name unk.) -- had two children, Frederick, born in 1854, and Sephronia, born in 1856. Finally, he married Margaret Elizabeth Haygood, Dec. 10, 1874, in St. Landry Parish, LA. He and Margaret had five children together: Evelyn Alma, b. 1875, Henry Adam Jr., b. 1877, Taylor Alvin, b. 1878, Willie Francis, b. 1880, and Stella Iris, b. 1885. We think his father's name was William and that they lived in Williamson County, TN, but have no other information on the Dittos. Can anyone shed any light on this family?
