To me this indicates that prior to Thomas, there was a John and son John who signed the Cumberland Compact. I do not find anything about a son named Thomas but hope you can give me a clue where to look.....We have some maps of the area email Beth Garrison and tell her exactly what map would help.

If the date is correct, then Thomas and Ellender are more than likely brother and sister. or Cousins since I pick up on Jacob Dobkins b 1850.What I need is a middle name or nickname for Ellender Dobkins Brickey.
