Looking for information on family tracked back to: PATRICK Dockery, b abt. 1823-d. after 1901, probably tenant farmer on Cloonsheever, in n.w. Co. Roscommon. A "junior" Patrick living in same t/l in 1915. M. abt. 1855 Cecelia Forde, b. abt. 1825, d. after 1901. Daughter Mary m. John Finan of Ballyglass East t/l n. Loughglynn village, 18 Feb. 1886 in Breedogue church, Ballinameen parish--were she was born too? Near Callow town--place of Mary's residence at marriage. Son of John and Mary, James J., m. Annie Diviney from Castlerea, b. 6 Aug. 1901 probably on family land in Scardaun West/Carrowconor t/l, Crossboyne parish, near Ballindine, Co. Mayo.
Confusingly, it appears that John Finan's father, Dominick, may have also married one ELLEN Dockery (also misspelled "Dockry" in records for Mary and Ellen both), b abt. 1819, d. 25 Ar. 1869, m. abt. 1849, had eight children, as did Mary Finan later. Probably Dominick and Ellen m. in Tibohine (later Loughglynn) parish.
