(His father was Francis, whose family names were as follows: William, Francis, Mary, John, Joseph, Thomas, Henry, Gilbert and Nancy.He was a widower with 3 first named children when he married the widow Margaret Kirkpatrick (who had been twice widowed prior to her marriage with Francis Dodds). Her first husband was Watson by whom she had 2 sons and 1 daughter. Names as follows: Samuel, Josiah and Mary.His daughter by Kirkpatrick was named Hannah. Her maiden name was? Craige? Co., Ill in Aug 1984 where he lived till October 1847 when he moved to Minard Co, Ill, where he remained until his death on 3 of May 1871.
