Jim, Thanks, I also had the original "Blackwell's Church Cemetery as the burial site for both SARAH ANN DOGGETT (BYARS) and JOEL BLACKWELL, SENIOR -- but I did not know that that portion of Joel's original land passed to John Camp.I believe that John Camp was a son of William Camp. That William Camp also had a son named Daniel Camp(b. 1766 Rutherford, NC - d. Apr 2, 1798 Rutherford, NC)who married Sarah McKinney (b. 1770 Rutherford, NC - d. Oct 23, 1837 Rutherford, NC). That Daniel Camp and Sarah McKinney had a daughter named Lydia Camp (b. 1790 Hickory Creek, Rutherford, NC) who married Daniel Blackwell (b. 1790 Rutherford, NC) who was a son of JOEL BLACKWELL, SENIOR.Since that DANIEL BLACKWELL was co-executor of JOEL, SENIOR'S estate and received most of the original land, I thought perhaps these Camp people had some bearing as to why SARAH ANN was buried on the Camp farm which, as you point out, is one and the same burial site that we are talking about. It would seem more likely the connection is to this Aron Camp you mention here -- which of SARAH ANN'S daughers married Aron Camp?
