Thank you for your response to my post on Sheelah Dolphin. I now realize that the maiden name of Sheelah’s mother was not Plymouth but the place where her mother’s photo was taken in the UK. I found Sheelah’s school data on some 1920 school class photos that were probably made by the school for their students. On these photos, I found the school name embossed on the bottom edge. It takes the original photo and a magnifying glass to see it. I may also, have a photo of your great-uncle, “Captain Robert Guy of the Wiltshire Regiment.” The only name on this photo is Bob, which could stand for Robert. I could not identify his uniform or his rank. The photo shows an officer in uniform standing with a walking cane in his right hand. Under the photo it simply says “BobYorkshire” I assume that it is Yorkshire, UK where this photo was taken. In two other photos of him, he is sitting next to Sheelah’s mother and below the photo it says, “Mommie and Bob” and under the other photo it says, “Mommie and Dad.”
I will e-mail you and give you my personal web page address where I have some of Sheelah’s photos.
