William's WWI draft card indicates born 6 September 1873, a naturalized US citizen, living at 2730 S. Calhoun Street in Fort Wayne, a salesman for the Singer Sewing Machine, next of kind was Mary Dom of the same address; dated 12 September 1918.
In the 1930 Census, I find a likely candidate in Wichita, Kansas:
Dom, William, lodger, age 57, widowed, married for first time at age 41, b. Germany, parents b. same, emigrated 1889, naturalized, salesman, music store
The following entry may or may not be connected: Dunn, Elizabeth D., lodger, age 30, divorced, b. Kansas, father b. New Jersey, mother b. Illinois, operator, elevator
The two entries are considered one household within the boarding house run by a Mary Blanchard on East Main Street.
From the Indiana Marriage Index, William and Mae were married 3 August 1914 in Vigo. Getting a copy of this record should tell you the names of his parents. Finding the church record might also give you additional information about his place of birth.
