David Mortimer Doremus, Jr.

I have been researching the Doremus line in attempts of connecting my grandfather's line to the rest of the family.I have found information on David Mortimer Doremus, Jr. son of David Mortimer Doremus and Polly Cooper. David Jr. was born 3/12/1835 and died 6/29/1864 in Brooklyn NY.He was educated at Kenyon College in Ohio and General Theological Seminary in New York City.He was ordained at Trininy Church in New York City and later served at a church in Yonkers, New York.He married Sarah Adeline Taylor, and two sons were born, Henry Delancey b. 9/12/1862, in New Rochelle, N.Y. who died 2/21/1869 and David Irving, b. 10/5/1864 in Yonkers, N./Y. I am hoping someone might have information on the family of David Irving, the name of his wife, and any children that may have been born to them.My grandfather, Joseph Wallace Doremus was born in 1894 in Dobbs Ferry, and his father Joseph Doremus, married to Lily Lockhart was born abt 1870-1875. If anyone has anything on the children of David Irving, would love hearing back from you.Would love to know if he is the father of Joseph, my great grandfather.
