More info is that HVD was a publisher & Moorland Press at Kerry Street West Minster, he owned(?) producing Cricket, Tennis & Badmington magazines/books such as "England v Australia in the tests 1876 to 1909" Cricket & Sports Pubs. 1910. 172pp PB AND also Who's who. His first wife was Jean Dorey and they had Lois Hugh John Dorey & Daisy (or Margerette) Dorey.
