George was born in Ireland and mmoved to PA sometime in the mid 1700's. He fought in the French and Indian War and in the Rev. War. and was with G. Washington at Braddocks defeat. Near the end of the Rev. War he married Miss Mary Sharrow, an English woman who lived in PA. They had one son that I know of, George Jr. who served in the War of 1812. I don't know much more about him. George Jr's son John moved to Ritchie county VA/WV with his wife Katherine Bolinger sometime in the 1830's. John and Katherines children were Jacob, CSA; George, Union; Wesley, Union; William; Elizabeth; Sarah; and Mary. George moved to Ohio, William moved to Mississippi, Wesley was killed by an accidental gunshot wound not long after he came home from the civil war, Elizabeth married a Mr. Weinrich and lived on Lamb's Run in Ritchie Co., I have Sarah listed and Mrs. Sarah Feathers Scott of Indian Creek in Ritchie Co., and Mary married Eugene(Eugenius) Tibbs and they were living in Missouri.
