My co-worker and I have several connecting lines so we occasionally compare notes. He is a descendant of Enoch Doughty through Margaret's son Enoch Berry born 1697.There may be a descendant in between but he is a descendant of Washington Berry born 1759 that married Alice Thorton Taylor a cousin of Zachery Taylor.Alice and Washington Berry settled in Campbell County Kentucky, the same location my ancestor Oner R. Powell settled.Oner was reportedly a descendant of Honor and Joyce/Joy (possibly Doughty) Powell.
I noted the deed between William/Margaret Berry and Honor and Joyce Powell on the Vangundy database where a lot of Powell information is stored. Some Berry information is also there.
The deed reference is on the page http://www.vangundy.net/familytree/paf/pafg63.htmhttp://www.vangundy.net/familytree/paf/pafg63.htmIt notes "3/1712-13 Essex Co. Honorias, resident of St Annes Parish and a planter, bought 296 more acres from William & Margret Berry. This land was "part of a patent of 4763 acres granted to Enock Dou'ty on 15 June 1675.""Int the note below it states " 5/14/1729 Honor Powell of St Ann's Parish had land in King and Queen County adjoining Joseph Berry and William Daniel."
I also ran across the "Bob Wolfe" information on http:www-personal.umich.edu/~bobwolfe/gene/Web2Ged/GoodWolfe/pn/p5391.htm
It gives his and his wife's e mail as email@example.com;firstname.lastname@example.org
It looks like he is at the University of Michigan.
I will try and locate the information you requested from my friend. I know that he originally went on some information from a cousin but has also added to it.
I agree that this is all secondary source and highly speculative as there is no proof that Joyce who married first George Lambert and second Honor Powell was Joy Doughty.
