Helen, just saw this message of your's- any information whatsoever re Lorenzo ("Crazy Dow") itinerant Camp-meeting Methodist preacher born Connecticut 1770's most gratefully received for a major research project on Lorenzo and his influence on various branches of Methodist Church in USA, Canada, England and Ireland C1790-1820's. Dow was probably major single influence on founding of the Primitive Methodist Church in England in early 1800's. He wrote some rather "way-out" autobiog.and pams. which I can't access "down under" in Australia, and very much need to access these. If you have any knowledge of possible source, please advise. Many thanks for your interest and advice. Daryl Lightfoot, Archivist/Librarian, Uniting Church in Australia (NSW Synod).
