Marc, I went that way last summer. I enjoyed seeing the old vilages that I read about in my tree. I was able to locate the first lot given to Pierre Duchesne dit Lapierre on Ile d'Orlean. The road is now call D'Argenteuil. It is almost at the far easterly point of the island. If you drive the road, look for a commemorative stone by the descendant of Madeleine Duchesne (elder daugther of Pierre if I recal correctly)for the 300 year of her wedding to Josheph Bonneau (dit Lacasse.
Although you will not find any Duchesne on I.O, there are tons of Bonneau's. For my calculation, the stone is one the orignal 4 arpent lot of Pierre's. You will find a detail reproduction map of the first distribution of land in the Genealogy shop in Ste Famille (418-829-3206), where some remains of the original church can be seen.
