I have Dudeks who go back to around the 18th century.
My connection to them is through the Benes name in Bohemia.
My great great grandfather, Joseph Anton Benes, married Antonia Hejdukova whose patents were Joseph Hejduk/Haiduk and Franciszka Dudek.

These came from Parish records of both Protestant and Catholic religions.My cousin went to Moravia in 1990 and paid the Archive Director to search parishs and records.The Archive Director translated into German and my cousin's wife translated into English.She is German.
Jelinek family was also from Milovy Bohemia. Hejduk family was Protestant.
