State Journal-Register, The (Springfield, IL) - December 26, 2006 Deceased Name: Kenneth N. Dugan CARLINVILLE - Kenneth N. Dugan, 86, of Carlinville died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at Carlinville Area Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1920, in Plainview, the son of Lloyd Edward and Nellie Rhodes Dugan. He married E. Louise Maguire in 1947 in Carlinville; she died in 1988.
Mr. Dugan was a U.S. Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. He worked at Civilian Conservation Corps camps in the LaSalle-Peru area, hauled milk for Prairie Farms Dairy from 1955 to 1960, and was a mechanic at Dick Shirley Chevrolet and Loveless Motors, retiring in 1982.
He attended First Assembly of God Church in Carlinville and served several terms on the Macoupin County Board. He was a life member of the Moose Club and a member of the John L. Meyer VFW Post 1104.
Survivors: three children, Louis Dale Imel and Kenneth Edward (wife, Sharon A.) Dugan, both of Carlinville, and Theresa (husband, Rory) Rathgeb of Alton; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, the Rev. Greg White officiating. Burial: Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Carlinville.
