Another cousin of ours was DNA tested with FamilytreeDNA and the results were in the end of August.Much to my surprise and shock we had a match noted by FamilytreeDNA.We descend from the first son of Robert's William Duling ca. 1720.So you all know which line this is.We had a 37 marker match with a distance of 4 with a Michael Dooley ca. 1801 from Kilkenny, Ireland. What this means is a probability of a common ancestor at 16 generations back is 80.52% and 20 generations back 92.14%.Since we have been in the US for over 330 years this would equal 16 generations back. What I read this evening was it means being related to a family cluster or variant spelling of the surname. His father John Dooley ca. 1761 is buried in Kilkenny, Ireland.I would say we now know the heritage of Robert Dooling.I was very excited and still am!!
