Doris Hurley Duncan, 82, of Johnson City, Washington Co TN, passed away, Friday, January 13, 2012, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Duncan was born September 24, 1929, a native of Cocke Co TN, who had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Zackariah Hurley and Gertrude Fowler Hurley.
Mrs. Duncan was the co-owner of Duncan Gas Services. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Victor R. Duncan.
Survivors include one son, Ross Duncan and his wife Katherine; two daughters, Dawn Duncan and Diann Duncan; three brothers, Bud Hurley, Zack Hurley, and Gary Hurley; three grandchildren, Alexa Duncan, Gracie Duncan and Trinny Duncan.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, prior to the service.
The funeral service for Mrs. Doris H. Duncan will be conducted at 8 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2012, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Bishop Z. Cannon will officiate.
The graveside committal service will be conducted at a later date in the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
