Obituary of Dick Scott Dunkelberger (changed to Langdon)
My Father, born Dick Scott Dunkelberger, b.1925 in Springfield
Ill, passed away April 19th, 2004 at the age of 78.
He grew up in Oak Park, Illinois, and then moved West to attend university at UCLA with a BS in engineering.
He worked for years as a aerospace engineer for Douglas, Northrup, and Boeing. He spent 4 years in Saudi Arabia in the late 70's with Northrup and the Air Force.
Dad was also an avid painter, and had his first gallery showing at the age of 12. He attended the Chicago Art Inst. with the Master painters of the time...
He is survived by his first wife Julia, his second wife Stella, and his children Patrick and Tim.
My grandfather George Leslie Dunkelberger took his wife's name in the late thirties. I am related to Samuel and Rueben Dunkelberger my GGF and GGGF.
I understand my family was in Berks Co. Penn.
