If you can prove a connection to Nancy Alvira Duncklee (or Dunklee, Dunklee, Dunkley, etc.) then we are, indeed, related.
If was really only with "Alviry's" father, Curtis, that the family moved to the Ticonderoga area. They may also been in Shoreham, Vt. where she married Royal Zebulon Bennett in 1848.
Anyway, here is the information I have on my Dunklee line:
Nancy Alvira Duncklee, 1832-1907.Married Bennett in 1848 (they are my gg grandparents)and they lived in Brant Lake, Warren County NY until they both died within two weeks of each other in May of 1907.I have visited their graves in the Brant Lake Cemetery and have pictures.
Curis Duncklee 1803-1857, married Rebecca Duncklee (they were first cousins as their fathers were brothers.)Curtis was born in Hillsboro, NY but moved to the upstate NY area.Much later he moved to Louisiana where he died in 1857.
Hezekiah Duncklee 1771-1857.born Amherst, NH.Married Betsy Farley.Died in Ticonderoga.
David Duncklee b. 1746 in Billerica, Ma.d. 1825-6 in Amherst, NH.Married Phoebe Odell (O'dell?)Children of David and Phoebe:
Thaddeus, Sarah, John, Joseph, Nathaniel, Damaris, David, Hezekiah, Mary
Hezekiah Duncklee 1708-1772 m. Damaris Wilson
Nathaniel Duncklee 1669- ?Married Mary French (I have this line traced back to the middle ages in Europe).
