Carleton Dunkley Berkley Co SC late 1700
Does anyone know anything about Carleton Dunckley of Berkley Co, SC?
He sold a family of slaves to Thomas Foster, guardian of Ann Maria Bounetheau on Jan 8, 1801.
He is on Judgment Rolls in 1802 & 1803, both as plaintiff and defendant. He is sometimes listed with Richard Dennis in these.I don't know what these cases are about, but his various opponents are James Hutchinson, John David Vale, Charles Snowden, John Rudd, Thomas Blackwood, Thomas Cockran, John Callaghan.
Where does Carleton fit on the family tree?
