Dear Mary Jane, So happy to have this information . . . . My mother, a Robinson, was Dick Dunlap's cousin (actually 'half' cousin) . . . . Thomas Lillard Robinson, my mother's dad, was the son of Frank Gentry Robinson.Frank was the son of Jeremiah (Jerry) Vardeman Robinson, who married first Jane Frances Bush, who died young in Kentucky. After her death (in 1858) he married Mary (Mollie/Molly) Hampton. She was the mother of Minerva (Minny/Minnie) Robinson ('Aunt Minny' to my mother). Minerva married Richard P. Dunlap (i think in Missouri - she was living in Missouri, not Kentucky, where she was born, when she was three years old and probably married there). (She and her husband are buried in Belton.) Their son was Capt. Richard ('Dick') Lafayette Dunlap, who married Margaret Lucy ('Lucy') Wilson. Dick and Lucy were the parents of Frances Scott ('Scotty').
Hoping you will post most details of your lineage - i want to add it to my family records . . . . very happy that you posted . . . .
