GREEN DEBARA LYNN DUNNIGAN. Born in Dallas March 18, 1945, and died August 3, 2001, from an injury suffered when she was thrown from a Moped while on holiday in Cozumel, Mexico. She graduated from Sunset High School and attended El Centro and SMU. She was actively involved in book clubs and Christian study groups in Dallas and Acapulco, Mexico. She volunteered with several orphanages in Acapulco and frequently delivered clothing, food and medical supplies to them. She was an active member of the Dallas County Medical Society Auxiliary. For the last several years, the great love of her life was working as a leader in Boy Scout Troop 5 at Kessler Park United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Tim Green, to whom she was married for nearly 30 years; mother, Thelma Dunnigan; father; Howard Dunnigan, and sister, Vicki Eloise Dunnigan. She is survived by four children, Amanda Owen and husband Terry of Grand Prairie; Jacob Green of Lake Dallas; Robert Green of Plano and David Green, as well as two step-children, Tim Green Jr. and wife Mary Ellen, and Sandra Anderson and husband Terry of Conroe. She also leaves behind grandchildren William Owen, Kelli Owen, Ashton Green, Tim Green III and wife Laura, Michael Green, Vince Anderson and LaMarr Anderson and wife Kellie, and brother, David Dunnigan and wife Carolyn. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 9, at Kessler Park United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop 5, Kessler Park United Methodist Church, 1215 Turner Ave., Dallas 75208.
