I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment . One of our men is Thomas D. Durnin b. c. 1836, son of Bryan Durnin. He enlisted 21 Jul 1862 at Christiana, Bad Ax Co. WI - age 26, single. He d. 1 Feb 1863 at Young's Point, LA - disease.His father, Bryan, filed for pension 20 Mar 1889 in Wisconsin
