My understanding of these forums is for genealogists, amateur or otherwise, to share information in good faith: I tell you a little about my family; you tell me a little about your line; we compare notes, hopefully enlightening ourselves and others researching similar families. We are all excited when we run across good research on our familiesbut not at the cost of buying back the information we ourselves have contributed to.
I DID give you some information on my family, which you have and, I assume, have put in your new book--which you are now so flagrantly promoting. You are attempting to sell this book to researchers, who may have unwittingly contributed to it. I am sure you have done some of the research yourself, but you are exploiting the work others have done without contributing some of your own work on this forum, but rather you are charging for that information.
I am vastly disappointed in you, and I only hope that the rest of the readers and contributors on this forum are more forthright in their motivations. I am NOT interested in purchasing your book, so please stop soliciting me.
