Hi Charles. The reason I asked the Bates question is because 1880 census shows Charles F. Bates 25 living with Alvin and Mehitable Porter.
As you know Isaac Randol Eames and Bethia Keen is a best guess by several people so we will stick with it. They seem to be the most likely parents of Isaac born 4 Nov 1795, Bethia born 12 Aug 1801, Mercy born 31 October 1807, as well the 1810 census lists one more son born 1794-1800 and two more sons born 1801-1810. Would like to figure out their names. As well it looks like Bethia Keen's parents Abigail Eames and Joshua Keen are living with them.
At this point in time I know that Isaac Randol Eames was the son of Amos Eames and Susanna Randol married 27 July 1758. Isaac had a sister named Mercy born 21 March 1761.
Isaac was born 1765 died 26 May 1819. Bethia Keen was born 1767 and died 25 Oct 1842. They are both buried Plainville Cemetery, Marshfield.
I also suspect that Amos Eames was a brother to Abigail
Eames and that Isaac Eames and Bethia Keen were first cousins.
I have more but thought I would start with this.
Susan
