We are in the process of obtaining Historic Cemetery Status for Clark Cemetery, Grayson County Texas. During this process, we have discovered a number of graves. One being Joseph Bonaparte Earhart. I belive this is the family line you are searching for. (I am not an Earhart family member.)
Earhart, Joseph B. Headstone is located far rear east side) of cemetery (about 750’ from entrance) and marks the fence line of the back of the cemetery. It is in a wooded area.The original headstonehas been replaced by family researchers with a modern headstone.He was born 15 April 1812 in Virginia and died in Feb of 1869.Married 1) Elizabeth Goslin, 2) Mary Ann Quensberry.His name was Joseph Bonaparte Earhart.In 1860 he was living in Jack County, Texas with his 2nd wife Mary Ann and his children; Eliza A., Eliphalet P., Julia F., Daniel, William M., and Jo Ellen. All children were born in Texas. He served as a wagon master in the Mexican War and was one of the firstcivilian contractorsfor Fort Washita.He later operated an ox mill for grinding corn on Iron Ore Creek.Information obtained from 1860 census and Earhart family genealogy records.
