I should have posted the LVA source site, back when I originally posted. Since posting the message, I did an Interlibrary Loan [ILL] of that film, but the library where I used the film didn't have the right lens for the film, so I had to read a few words, move the image, read a few more, move the image, and so forth. Was really tough to get through it, but I did a poor transcription. And the result was, I still cannot answer my question about the Earle involvement. I do know the issue was a land dispute, and there was an argument over whether the transactions on the land were legal. Perhaps sometime in the future, I can again ILL the film now that I live in a place with a different film reader. Unfortunately, I have little time to spare, a result of some family health issues that arose recently.
