I'm sorry to announce my computer suffered a major crash about two weeks ago. I have been busy ever since trying to re-build and re-capture as much as possible. Unfortunately, one of the areas I could not re-capture was all the messages I had stored in the Easterly Family forum. Along with the lost messages, I also lost hundreds of E-mail addresses. To those of you I was in recent communications with, I ask that you send me a reminder of the subject and some of the content. (or send the most recent message). To those of you who feel I was holding a club over your head; rest easy! I lost all the reference materials! Fortunately, the web site was up and running, and still is. I will be able to receive those documents as a download. They were/are some of the most important of the reference materials I had. However, the background material which was used in the creation of some of those documents is lost. I would appreciate those of you who are interested to send me your E-mail address so that I may rebuild that data base for future use. I was able to check the web site at www.easterlyfamilypages.net and am pleased to report that the use of the site (visitors) is growing every day. The average daily use, with successful downloads of various pages, averaged more than 100 per day during the month of June. I call that a success! And, I appreciate the fact that it is being found usefull to Easterly family researchers. Again, if there is something you feel should be included in the site, talk to me. If I can do it, I will.
