I located the following in some Augusta County, VA records.So if he was the son of William then William was still living as late as 26 May 1813.Has anyone checked the personal property tax lists in Rockbridge County, VA?

Memorandum of Robert Eastham will maid on the twentieth sixth day of May one thousand eight hundred and thirteen after paying all my just debts I give and bequeath to my sister Nancy Newman the sum of one dollar and the residue of my estate be given unto my sister Hannah Eastham all my estate real and personal also it is my will and desire that she shall suport my father William Eastham during his natural life.

In the County Court of Augusta March 1825 This last will and testament of Robert Eastham was presented in courth and proved by the clerk by the oath of Betsy Meek a witness thereto and set Term 1825 being further proved by Samuel McCutheon another witness theret is ordered be recorded adn on the motioningAlexander Crawford who made oath thereto and together with Alexander Craig his security entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $600 conditioned as administrator with the will annexed in due form
