Dear Patti:Which families are you interested in?Eberhard, Yetter, or both?
At this moment I can not find a birth date on Mary, but I have 3 huge volumed notesbooks of information on the Eberhards which I am going to enter onto computer file descendant reports, and I might find something upon a better search-- it takes hours to go thru everything.
John Barnhard Eberhard, eldest son of John Adam Eberhard was born l746 in Germany. He married Miss Dorothy (Barbara) Stair in l776-John Adam goes back to Andreas Eberhard.Am working on this complete line presently.
John and Dorothea were the parents of Mary, who was born in Union Co., Pa.
I have listings of all her brothers and sisters, and also listings of the children of some of the Yeatters, also Walters family and genealogy.
I have that Mary and Jacob Yeatter married in Mifflin Co., Pa.
Were parents of six sons and three daughters.Have complete listings of this entire family.
Mary's husband lived to the age of 90.This info in part from Yeatter Family Tree- compiled by Lois Wattles back in the l930's (approx. date on that).
How far back are you searching--
The Yeatter papers, unproven, and accepted as family records per the author, stated that the first Eberhard here to America of my line came over in the year l764, and that the trip took 7 long months. They supposidly embarked at Easter, thus arriving here sometime in November.
The Yeatter family married into the Eberhard and Hackenburg families, as well as the Yeatter and Walter's line.
Dr. Charles Fisher gave an account in his Central Pennsylvania Lineages data that the Hackenburg's arrived also in the year l764, on the ship Jenneffer, Captain George Kerr, Master, where Oath of Allegiance was taken November 5, l764.
I have a deed from Robert Duncan to Jacob Yetter dated November 25, l80l.Was transaction between Barnhard Eberhard-- probable father of Mary.
In correspondence of since deceased genealogist Kenneth McCurdy, he had asked me for information on a Mary M. Eberhardt born 2l Feb. l8l3 and died 9 Feb. l890 married to a Michael Yeater born 7 Oct. l8l2 and died 27 May l898.Both are buried in Beavertownship, Junita Co., Pa.
I have alot more, but would like you to give me more on what you are searching on-- as to how you fit into the family of Eberhard /and or Yeatter.
