I was looking at some of your posts and found something very interesting. As you know Solomon ray married Jane Echols in 1796 in Wilkes co Ga. I have spent over fine years trying to find who Jane Echol's parents were. Since she and Solomon Ray named their only daughter Nancy her name might have been Nancy Jane Echols. Solomon Ray died in 1813 in Jasper co Ga. Jane married Tench Farrow in 1818 in Jasper co Ga. He took off in the early 1820's and Jane and her children went to Meriwether co Ga about 1830. Jane married Solomon Lacks in 1834 in Meriwether co Ga. They went to Tallapoosa co Al about 1835. Solomon Lacks died about 1853 or 1854. A William C Grisham witnessed his will. Could that have been the same William Grisham you mentioned from Oglethorpe co Ga and Meriwether co Ga associated with the Vickers in Ga who you thought a Sarah Vickers might have been the sister of Solomon Ray.
